I finally posted some pictures of our living room, our home in Gladenbach, but hey… big news, we are moving to a new home :P
So let me use this time of changes for some update:
After quite some time of job search and the whole processes connected to it, Ali accepted a job offer from a company in Stuttgart, where he will start a position as Unix Systems Administrator March 2nd. He is really looking forward to this opportunity, and even though this is connected to quite some challenge with moving and so on, we are also excited about what is ahead of us (though maybe also a bit uncertain for now). We will be living for the first weeks in a “vacation apartment” (Ferien-Wohnung) so that I can try finding an apartment for us while Ali is working.
This is a challenge for me right now and also a whole new experience, but I trust that God will be faithful and with us as he has already proven so many times in the past.
As for my studies I have to say that this first semester was really hard, much harder than i expected in the beginning. At the end i really reached my limits of strength, which is maybe also due to all the changes happening in my/our life throughout the last year. In the end I decided that I need to take a break for one semester, because I could not keep it up on that level anymore. Together with our decision to move to Stuttgart this also gives me the time to invest in the moving process and adjusting to a new environment / city. I also want to use this time to do some internships to still get more clarity about my vocational goals. But it is possible after all to continue my studies in nutrition also at the Stuttgart University.
So far the news, I know it is big news, it still kinda is for us as well…
